Privacy Policy
Overview
PetLog is a pet medical journal app for iPhone. It helps you keep notes about your pets’ health, vet visits, vaccinations, and related documents.
We do not collect data for advertising, profiling, or tracking. All information you enter is used solely to provide app functionality on your device and, optionally, in your private iCloud account.
Data we store
When you use PetLog, the app stores the following data on your device (and in your iCloud account if iCloud sync is active):

We do not operate our own servers and do not receive a copy of your data.
Where data is stored
- Locally on your iPhone, in the app’s secure on-device database.
- iCloud / CloudKit (optional): If you are signed in to iCloud, data is synced to your private CloudKit container tied to your Apple ID (
iCloud.com.mikosamuraj.petlog.app). Only you can access this data through your Apple ID on your devices.
Data is not transmitted to developer-operated servers.
Subscriptions and payments
PetLog offers optional premium subscriptions (monthly and yearly) with a free trial through Apple’s In-App Purchase system. All payment processing is handled by Apple. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment card details or billing address.
Apple may share subscription status with the app so we can unlock premium features such as editing, creating, and deleting entries. Subscription management, billing, and refunds are handled through your Apple ID account settings.
Data sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing or analytics.
Data may leave the app only when you choose to:
- Export and share a PDF report
- Share an attachment through the iOS share sheet
Apple’s iCloud infrastructure processes synced data according to Apple’s Privacy Policy.
Tracking
PetLog does not use tracking technologies, analytics SDKs, or advertising frameworks. We do not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies.
Your choices and deleting data
You can delete your data at any time:
- Delete a pet or entry in the app — removes that data locally and from iCloud sync.
- Uninstall the app — removes local data from your device.
- Remove iCloud data — on your iPhone go to Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage → PetLog and delete stored data.
There is no separate account registration in PetLog; your data is tied to your device and Apple ID via iCloud.
Medical disclaimer
PetLog is for personal notes only. The app does not provide veterinary advice, diagnoses, or treatment recommendations. Always consult a licensed veterinarian for health decisions about your pet.
Children’s privacy
PetLog is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect the latest version. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Nie prowadzimy własnych serwerów i nie otrzymujemy kopii Twoich danych.
Gdzie przechowujemy dane
- Lokalnie na Twoim iPhonie, w zabezpieczonej bazie aplikacji.
- iCloud / CloudKit (opcjonalnie): jeśli jesteś zalogowany/a do iCloud, dane są synchronizowane z Twoim prywatnym kontenerem CloudKit (

Subskrypcje i płatności
PetLog oferuje opcjonalne subskrypcje premium (miesięczną i roczną) z okresem próbnym przez system Zakupów w aplikacji Apple. Wszystkie płatności obsługuje Apple. Nie zbieramy ani nie mamy dostępu do danych Twojej karty płatniczej ani adresu rozliczeniowego.
Apple może przekazać aplikacji status subskrypcji, aby odblokować funkcje premium, takie jak tworzenie, edycja i usuwanie wpisów. Zarządzanie subskrypcją, płatności i zwroty odbywają się przez ustawienia Apple ID.
Udostępnianie danych
Nie sprzedajemy, nie wynajmujemy ani nie udostępniamy Twoich danych stronom trzecim w celach marketingowych ani analitycznych.
Dane mogą opuścić aplikację wyłącznie wtedy, gdy Ty to zainicjujesz — np. eksport PDF lub udostępnienie załącznika.
Śledzenie
PetLog nie używa technologii śledzenia, SDK analitycznych ani frameworków reklamowych.
Twoje wybory i usuwanie danych
- Usuń pupila lub wpis w aplikacji.
- Odinstaluj aplikację — usuwa dane lokalne.
- Usuń dane z iCloud — Ustawienia → [Twoje imię] → iCloud → Zarządzaj miejscem na koncie → PetLog.
Zastrzeżenie medyczne
PetLog służy wyłącznie do prowadzenia własnych notatek i nie udziela porad weterynaryjnych.
Prywatność dzieci
PetLog nie jest skierowany do dzieci poniżej 13. roku życia.
Zmiany polityki
Możemy okresowo aktualizować niniejszą Politykę prywatności. Data na górze wskazuje najnowszą wersję.
